In preparation for our undertakings in the Dominican Republic, our team travels with typically 10 – 25 suitcases filled with various Gifts in Kind, including medical and surgical supplies and donated shoes. Surgeons of Service collects various Gifts in Kind from numerous organizations and private companies including Da Vinci Foot & Ankle, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, the Gwinnett Advanced Surgery Center, Eastside Medical, DeKalb Medical Center, Gill Podiatry, Cropper Medical, Redi-Thotics, Orthotechnik, Cogent Wellness, Braces without Borders, and the Podiatry Institute. Additionally, new and gently used shoes are collected from locals in the surrounding communities and strategic partnerships with area schools, including Lake Oconee Academy in Greensboro, Georgia and Gatewood School in Eatonton, Georgia.
We are looking to partner with more schools and businesses to help us with our campaigns. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a Surgeon of Service partner to help assist our mission.
